Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Comics
For The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I designed the layouts for a series of comic books, each tackling a different topic in personal money management. The work drew heavily on my background in composition and editorial design, balancing panels, text, and imagery to create a reading experience that felt natural to move through and easy to follow.
Beyond the structural layout, I incorporated graphic elements to deepen the storytelling and bring more expression to the characters and moments throughout each book. The goal was to make financial education feel approachable and engaging, and the comic format was a great vehicle for doing exactly that.
Comic Book Covers
Each cover in the series was designed as part of a cohesive set, sharing the same layout and structure while using a distinct color palette to differentiate each book. The consistent framework ties the series together visually, making it immediately clear they belong to the same collection, while the varied colors give each volume its own identity and help readers distinguish between topics at a glance.
